January Issue has hit the shelves

Joe Morgan January 1, 2010 3

Happy new year from Hooked on Horses! Our January issue is packed full of competitions, ideas, articles and interviews- all to help you kick start the new year and achieve all your new years resolutions! See below for a taster of what you can find in the next instalment of Hooked on Horses magazine.

COMPETITIONS GALORE

The January issue is in shops all over Essex right now and includes two great competitions- remember for your chance to enter all you need to do is fill in the form inside the magazine and send into us with your answer! It couldn’t be simpler.

Up for grabs is a fantastic Porterhorse Pack horse kit which includes colour coordinated stable rug, new zealand, head collar, lead rope and much more! Your horse or pony will soon be the smartest on the yard if you win- so enter before the 20th January to be in with a chance.

You could also win an Equigrab bag this month – an equine first aid kit which is not only durable and robust but is filled to the brim with all the essential first aid equipment you should need.

THE BIG INTERVIEW

This month we interviews best selling author Kathleen Peyton, who wrote the Flambards series- and is also president of the Essex Farmers branch of the Pony Club. She regales us with tales of her life from childhood to present, and reveals the influence behind her award winning Flambards books.

TRAINING WITH OLLIE TOWNEND AND MANY MORE EVENT REPORTS

Despite bad weather forcing what seemed like hundreds of shows to cancel, luckily some events still managed to run last month and are in the magazine. Including the NSEA Inter Schools Championships held at Keysoe, Ramsden Riding Club Christmas Show, Affiliated dressage at Norton Heath and much more!

I hope you enjoy this months issue, remember if you want to have you say please email us at info@hookedonhorses.co.uk

If you can’t find an issue in a shop near you let us know or check out our stockist page for an up to date list of were you can find the magazine; you can also subscribe online to get your copy delivered straight to your door for no extra cost!

Happy New Year!
