Alongside its CIC** and CIC*** events, this year Barbury will be running several sections including a Novice section, Young Rider Trial and Retraining of Racehorses Championship.

A challenging cross country awaits the contestants, posing some difficult questions for both horse and rider. Designer Captain Mark Phillips has made some alterations and some additions to the course from the 2009 design.

Mary King & Pippa Funnell have three horses entered between them which is sure to get the crowd cheering & last years CIC***winner, Daisy Dick riding Spring Along, will be hoping for a repeat of last year.

At only £12 per person on Saturday & Sunday, Barbury International Horse Trials is well worth the visit & under 12′s get to go free. Parking is also free and if that isn’t enough, there are several other attractions from quad biking to the shopping village.
