BETA International is the world’s leading equestrian, pet product and country clothing exhibition. It has been running for thirty-one years and this years event was held on 21st – 23rd February 2010 at Birmingham’s NEC Arena.

Established in 1978 and with memberships of over 800 equestrian manufacturers, distributors and retailers, BETA is at the heart of the Equine trade.

Cover the front of the lens and you will see the large amount of light that comes out of the sides, top and bottom. Ingatestone Saddlery Centre winning Mail order/internet retailer of the year

Congratulations to Ingatestone Saddlery Centre, who won mail order/internet retailer of the year at the recent BETA International awards. ISC has won this award for the second year in a row, and owe their success to Jacqui Fedi who is in charge of Ingatestone online. Both owners, siblings Barrie and Lynda Mortlock travelled down to the trade fair to receive their prize. The saddlery was also entered for large retailer of the year, which they have won on previous occasions, but this year were beaten by Robinsons and another saddlery. LITOVET WINS MAJOR BETA INNOVATION AWARD

A brand new joint mobility feed supplement for horses has stolen the show during its launch at this year’s BETA International.

UK equestrian experts have recognised LitoVet with an Innovation Award at the world-leading equestrian trade exhibition held at the NEC in February.

Given to genuinely innovative products expected to excite the equine world, the Award underlines LitoVet’s unique, scientifically documented ability to maintain horse joint soundness and mobility.

The complimentary feeding stuff is made from the Rosa Canina variety of rose-hips which contains high levels of GOPOâ^[i] – a key ingredient which studies have shown is more effective at reducing joint pain than other supplements, such as glucosamine^[ii]. Research performed on over 70 horses at a Danish trotting track, showed that those fed LitoVet regained suppleness more quickly after strenuous exercise and showed improved willingness to work^[iii]. No other UK equine supplement contains the same high levels of GOPOâ.

The same study also showed that LitoVet may increase the Vitamin C level of horses by up to 40% – essential to the formation and maintenance of connective tissues.
