Tried and Tested: Anklelite

As Winter approaches, and the nights draw in, are you riding safely on the raods in poor visibility?

The Anklelite/ Armlite has been tried and tested by Hooked on Horses, and was found to be light and comfortable to wear, as well as well as helping to illuminate riders/horses on the road.

This is a unique and innovative solar-powered, eco-friendly lighting product worn around the arm or ankle to keep cyclists safe on the roads, protect children as they walk or cycle to and from school and is also ideal for horse riders and joggers.

The Anklelite (Armlite) with adjustable straps fits all sizes and can be worn with or without trousers and fits securely over riding boots.  Anklelite provides super-bright 360 degree lighting without the need for batteries. Anklelite has lenses that send light out through 360 degrees. Cover the front of the lens and you will see the large amount of light that comes out of the sides, top and bottom. There are V shaped grooves in the lens to ensure that the light to the side is as bright as the light through the front of the lens.

“I thought the Anklelite was light and comfortable to wear, and I really liked the fact that it charged itself; so that I never had to worry whether it had enough power whenever I rode.

The design is neat and compact, which was good as it didn’t interfere with my riding whether I wore it around my arm or boot. I would definitely recommend this product as being ideal for horse riders out hacking, as it is also weatherproof.”

This should definitely be on your shopping list this Winter! Please see www.pedalite.com for more information
