Moorland Rider V-Tie review

The ‘V-tie’ is a pull apart horse tether, made by Moorland Rider it promises to pull apart if the horse pulls sharply on the tether – thus minimizing injury to the horse as it pulls back.

The tie up is made of nylon and does up with velcro; and has a quick release tab, which you can simply reseal and use again if it it opened.

Moorland rider V-tieI like the smart design of the V-tie and I think it is perfect for use at shows and wouldn’t look out of place on a lorry or trailer -  it can also be used in the stable and on the yard.

When I tested on my horse, he promptly pulled away twice in quick succession after being spooked by a wood-chippings bag. Both times the V-tie released quickly and I found it easy to re-tie my horse back up. I must admit, it does look smarter than the piece of bailing twine I had there before ad I would recommend it as a handy ‘must have’ for using when you are about and about t shows and need to tie up.

Te tie up is available in black (one size) and is a bargain at just £7.50. To order or for stockist information, please visit moorlandrider.co.uk or call 01782 397796
