Essex born Kara Tointon is due to take part in a 33km endurance horse race as part of a simpler and new way of giving to charity called JustTextGiving.
Kara Tointon In Horse Endurance Race For JustTextGiving Launch
The Ex-Eastender and Strictly Come Dancing winner from Leigh On Sea, Essex, is participating in Vodafone’s new ‘JustTextGiving’ scheme. JustTextGiving is an alternative and easy way to donate to charity using text messaging and launched on September 5th. It works through a system that allows you to text message a code along with a donation amount to give sponsorship.
On Sunday 18th September Tointon will join others at the College Equestrian Centre in Bedfordshire and will ride through the county for 33km.
Kara, who suffers from dyslexia herself, is raising money from the endurance race to go to Action Dyslexia. The charity works to make a difference to the lives of those who are affected by dyslexia.
She will be joined by Amanda Holden, Lisa Snowdon and Denise Van Outen who will be completing different feats for charity.
You can support Kara by texting her unique code, KARA81, to 70070 along with your donation amount. For more information, click here to visit Just Giving.
