Shiralee Swan has been announced as the new Chairman of the BHS Essex Committee, and on behalf of the BHS Essex Committee, she would like to wish you all a Happy New Year.

As we move in to the New Year we all have ideas and plans of what we would like to achieve during the following 12 months. During 2012 The British Horse Society Essex Committee would like to help you achieve your goals. Starting from grass roots upwards. Our plan is to ask the Essex Members. ‘What they would like the BHS Essex Committee to organize’. This could be many things. Fitness Workshop for riders (a must for me after Christmas), or maybe Pilates, Clinics for all levels of rider covering showing, dressage, jumping, trec, fun rides. Talks, Q&A evenings with Vets, Farrier’s, Saddle fitters, Equine Dentist. A dog show, competitions, riding & road safety, horse owner certificates, just to name a few things.
What about a Meet & Greet evening? This would be a great way of putting names to faces and for you to tell us what you would like us to do for you. Join us on Facebook, look for BHS Eastern Region
