With less than a fortnight to go until the annual Orsett Show, which will take place on Saturday 3rd September, the organising committee are busy prepping the show ground setting up for Saturday’s prestigious event.
The show will see hundreds of riders take to the rings to compete in a variety of disciplines, from driving to showjumping, and from showing to heavy horse classes. With eighty-eight classes taking place across eight rings a busy day will be had by all, and there will be lots for spectators to watch.
“There have been bumper entries this year”, said horse section secretary Chris Adler, who added that they will still accept some last minute entries.
You must get your entries with your entry fee to secretary Chris Adler, by 5pm on Friday the 26th of August at the VERY latest, as they are unable to take entries after this date.

Check back online tomorrow for more Orsett Show information including a question answer session with press officer for the show, Ray Maywood.
