This months Big Interview is with Ruth Dowie who I’m sure many of you will know as the owner of Runningwell Equestrian Centre in Rettendon, here’s a snippet from our interview:
Although Sussex based Ruth didn’t hail from a particularly equine family, as a child she was lucky enough to own a pony and her enthusiasm and interest for horses grew from there. Upon leaving school, she passed her BHSAI (Assistant Instructor) exam, before relocating to The Talland School of Equitation and passing her Intermediate Instructors qualification. Working as an instructor, Ruth then spent five years working as a competition groom, for several different show jumpers, which saw her travelling all over the country before settling in Essex.
